They're on my wishlist, lovely cabs. Long way over budget sadly.

£518 per pair Not the most exciting, nor the lightest, but do exactly what it says on the tin. Personally, I like the sound of W Audio cabs.

    Alto, £538 per pair

Ebay throws up various used/ex demo Altos between £400 to £450. Some Thumps in the price range, and a few others.

You can't knock free Definitely do your research and have a good listen to some speakers before you make your final decision - if you do it right, they'll last you a good many years

Nice. I had to pay for mine. There are worse cabs on the market, I'm happy to use them for around 100 people ( as long as they aren't a bunch of 18year olds wanting to be deafened ). Just be aware of their limits, and they'll be fine. What model are they?

They are only being used for the mid and high range as the KAB is doing all the Bass.

I use the mackie srm 450s and recommend them. Save up if you can, they are light to handle, sound good and pretty robust.

Just wondering do the 450's compare to the Yamaha DSR/DXR 15's?

I've been using the new Peavey HiSys 12's since the beginning of December (thanks to Peavey for getting them to me specially). Thoroughly pleased with the results.
