    Default Electro Swing and Disney.

Perhaps strange bedfellows. Got one next week where among other things they want " Electro Swing " and also Disney music. I'm informed that there's a good remix of Disney's " Frozen ".

Any pointers on what to look for and purchase, chaps and chapesses? Thanks.

That's the "Let it go" remixes. Played the Dave Aude one the other week and it went down well.

    Artists:

Parov Stelar, Swingrowers, The Correspondents, RetroElectric Big Band, Skeewiff, Stex

    Tracks (my favourites):

    Parov Stelar - Catgroove
Dutty Moonshine ft Mr B the Gentleman Rhymer - Fancy a tipple
DJ Pony - Can the Frog Tap Dance (Electromuppets)
Star Wars Bar Band, Electro Swing Invasion - Cantina Band

& some you've probably already got, but didn't realise they'd qualify as ES:

Doop, Swing set, Get a move on & even We no speak Americano

You'd probably also get away with playing Caro Emerald -That man

& some good starting point albums (there are several volumes of both)

I must say that it's a combination that should produce some great tracks, but I find them to be few and far between. Doop has always been a guilty pleasure, and I've never tired of 'Americano.

Another one that I love is Timewrap - Ain't Swing It, a respectful remix of Artie Shaw's 'It Ain't Right'.
