I do think some of the % of amount payable on cancellation is a bit steep... I personally don't think we should be asking for more money if they cancel 2 months beforehand but that does depend I guess on what type of DJ you are and how in advance people book.

I think it is. And I think most people would be hard pushed to fill a non-key date at 8 weeks notice. If you're a full-timer in the industry, you need to maximise your income and minimise your losses. Just saying!
