Default Theatre, when was the last time you went?

As a "part time" DJ who has a full time job as well, I rely on and really appreciate the help and support of my girlfriend.

So to "oil the wheels of romance" I am taking her to the theatre tonight to see the West End touring show Rock of Ages (her choice).

So when was the last time you went to the theatre and what did you see? Is there a show you'd like to see or wish you had?

So hope we've got a good show to see. Must admit its the sound and PA side of things that interest me most!

    Beauty & The Beast.

Wasn't touched by the film as a kid, not a fan of musicals per se, and I was certainly not happy paying more than £100 for a pair of tickets so Mrs. B could have the best seat in the house but I have to admit that I really enjoyed it.

I am a member of my local Musical Theatre group, where I set up and operate the Sound desk for the length of the shows - usually a week run at a time.

Through them, I got more and more in to musical theatre and have been to various theatres around the country to watch shows. I love it and i'm not ashamed to admit it lol!

Few years ago . The sound of music, at the london Palladium.
Excellent day out, and worth every penny

Went Tuesday night to see West Side Story. We go regularly. I also try to take us out to dinner on the odd week night. We prefer it as it's easier to get a booking and you generally get better service as they're not so busy. Sunday carvery somewhere is good to do at weekend. Also try to get out on a Sunday for a country walk. I am now not taking bank holiday bookings so we can have some time then.
This all helps to keep things sweet at home!

I go regularly, but it's always for kids shows.
