Most I find are OK and just pay up.
You do get a few who agree to a price then want it for less at the end of the night.
You need a crowbar to get the notes out of their pocket.
Maybe you should stop taking gigs there then or better yet, get paid in advance of the gig

I said the Scots are notorious for it.
I didn't say that was my opinion.

    Or take payment up front.

I have met quite a few tight scotsmen, but I am sure they are not that bad - Having said that this year a scotsman took drinks from us all night and made and excuse at the end so not to buy a round. "im-e goin tee bed" - but he spent the next hour at the bar chatting to Alan Marshall. Thats just rude if you ask me.

I think you need to practice your Scots accent a bit more.

The rest of your comments certainly sound like you're giving an opinion.

I am just reflecting on my experiences.
These are facts that happened not opinions.

    Don't annoy Shaun.

Based on my observations I think Northerners are loud, abrasive and don't have much class, Southerners are boring, gutless and snooty, welsh people are always, well a bit strange. Londoners are all just plain rude and think they are sooo cool. Very general thats for sure

I don't really fit the above apart from perhaps being a bit snooty and based on this post ... rude

This is tounge and cheek before anyone sin bins me.
