    Default Metadata help

I need some help with metadata.

I have recently noticed in Bing, Google and Yahoo that when I search for "Wedding DJ Edinburgh" the following result appears.

Lee Live (Wedding DJ ~ Ceilidh Caller ~ Singer) Edinburgh ...
    www.lee-live.com/
A professional cabaret singer and DJ available for weddings, clubs, corporate events, hotels and private parties.

Where is it pulling that metadata from? I used to be a cabaret singer 10 years ago!!

I checked my metadata with on my website.... that is not what it ought to read. I even asked the company but they say that Google haven’t reindexed my website!!

Quite worried as traffic to my website is at an all-time low and I wonder if this is the issue.

    Many thanks

it should be coming from the Meta-description on your website. If Google isn't re-indexing your site then I'd be concerned as usually Google will come calling every few months at least?

If you're relying on your web design/hosting company for website and SEO management then it's time to have another chat with them.

Bit late in replying but if you have a google webmasters/developers account you can change the metadata from there that will over ride the data on your site.
