Hopefully you've now got some idea of what to ask, but ultimately the fee is entirely down to whatever you would be happy to receive. It should be a reflection of your experience plus your extra travelling time plus any accommodation you might require. Don't worry about what others are charging....they're not you, your service is unique!

I'd price it at just under double my normal fee as they'd booked the engagement too
    +45p per mile petrol
+ £20+ per hour of driving involved

Would bring my quote to well over a thousand quid but I'm neither desperate for the cash if they choose to go elsewhere or falling over myself to work on NYE, your mileage may vary.

I haven't had any wedding enquiries for new years eve. Just my normal Nye venue. Its fairly local to me so afterwards I pack up and drive home.

But if I was handed an enquiry like yours, I would charge double my normal fee plus a small travelling allowance. Afterwards I would drive home.

    Good luck with the booking

let us know how you get on

Just like many of the guys, charge double the normal rate and something for travel costs.

People expect to pay more at new year.

    Best of luck.
