whats happened to peavey uk????
What's happened to peavey uk???
I found out from my local dj shop today that peavey closed its uk base in corby??.now apparently this was a very large office\distribution complex, the staff were informed 2 weeks before Christmas that it was closing.
I have the modern lightweight ipr amp which started clipping on Saturday night, the dj shop tells me they cannot do anything at present until they hear back from peavey. It will need to get sent back to peavey for repair but as yet no one knows where this will be.
no good when I need the amp repaired
there had been rumours about peavey setting up a European base similar to American dj

Peavey are pulling out of Europe.
The staff have known for far longer, as the stock has been being sold off for months.
Shouldn't stop warranty repairs though, as they have contractors for that.

I wondered why PMT started selling off the IPR amps for half price.

This article is from August last year so the Corby site closing hasn't come out of the blue:

Hello. Thank you for that information, it may be useful to our members.
Could I ask you to pop across to the Newbies section, and tell us a bit about yourself, it's always helpful to know who we're typing to.
