    Default Printing Recommendations

    Morning All,

I have some future Wedding Fayres to attend, both as a Professional Toastmaster and Disco.

I would appreciate some recommendations for printing companies for A5 flyers (single and double sided) plus roll up banners.

    Kind regards,

    Ian.

Not sure about roll up banners but I used to always buy my flyers from - http://www.iloveflyers.co.uk when I did event promotion as they were the cheapest for good quality around 2-3 years ago.

For flyers & cards I've used Saxoprint a few times. No complaints with the service. http://www.saxoprint.co.uk/

Thanks for this Shaun, much appreciated.

I'm not fully 'savvy' with creating my own artwork so I'm hoping that they may be able to do on-line templates. I'll have a look at their web site later this evening.

    Kind regards,

    Ian.

    Saxoprint are very well priced.

Just ordered a load of brochures from here and the process of ordering and managing files etc. is excellent!

I am not too bothered with price these days. The main thing is the print quality service / turnaround choice is good

    Cheers Toby.

Do you design yourself or do they do it on your behalf?

Myself on Illustrator. My suggestion would be to get a third party who can focus their attention on you.
printers are not often amazing designers. perhaps putting an add on gumtree and getting student would be a good idea?
Good artwork is worth investing in as it will be with you for some time so pays for itself.

I spent flipping ages on the brochure but I am pleased with the way it come across and it matches my website.
This is the front cover and page 1 - the little cartoons run through on each page.

    A5 - Gloss cover, silk inside, 300gsm throughout - 8 pages.
Not sure if that was too thick. perhaps 250gsm would have been better??

I have written a book on wedding MCing so want to also get that printed in A5 so it all matches then.
