Default Not your normal 30th birthday party playlist..

I just thought I would share a playlist that I received for a 30th birthday party that I did 2 weeks ago.
It was more of a specialist list and there are some forgotten classics in there. It was a fantastic night!
I only managed to play a handful as there was a band on also..

Blink 182 - All the small things
Sum 41 - Fat lip American
hi-fi - Flavor of the weak
Reel big fish - Sell out
    Weezer - Hash pipe
Blood hound gang - Ballad of chasey lane/ Bad touch
    Crazy Town - Butterfly
New found glory - hit or miss
    Tenacious D - :**** her gently
    Yellow card - Ocean View
Chili peppers - (any good song)
    Milencolin - The ballad
Mad Caddies - drinking for eleven
Puddle of mud - she ***** hates me
    Linkin park / Jay Z - Encore
    Wheetus - Teenage dirt bag
    Green day - Minority
Off spring - pretty fly for a white guy
Lit - My own worst enemy
    Sublime - Date Rape
    Eminem - With out me
    D12 - Purple Pills
Afro Man - Cause i got high
    Robbie williams - Angels
    O.P.M - heaven is a half pipe
Head automatica - beating hearts baby
Taking back sunday - cute without the 'e'
    Modest mouse - float on
Bedouin soundclash - when the night feels my song
    Peter Gabriel - Sledge Hammer
    Rage against the machine
    Levellers
    Uptown Funk
    Jamie T Sticks & Stones
    Mumford & Son
    90's music
You & me baby ain't nothing but mammals
    Spice Girls
    Gay Bar
    Bob Marley
    Fred Durst
    Keep Rolling Rolling Rolling
    Cat empire car song
    East 17
    Jump around
    Frozen - Let it Go
    American Pie
    Madness
    D.I.S.C.O
    Disco Inferno
    Jacksons
    B'witched Cest la vie
    Tom Jones
    Backstreet Boys
    Limp Bizkit
    Kings of Leon
Killing in the name by rage against the machine. Last song!!

There were a few obscure ones in there.. The venue manager came over at one point and asked me was I playing 'my own choice' of music?
When I showed him the playlist and he walked away shaking his head

I did have to mix it up a bit for the oldies in the room..

    Hope you enjoy!

Picked out my particular faves form that list. With regards to the bolded: Reel Big Fish was a bit of a markout moment when I saw that. As for OPM, I tend to find the novelty of that song wears off rather quickly when played.

    Great list though.

I'd be more than happy to play that lot. Some good stuff there!

    Thanks for the comments.
It was a nice change for me to play songs that I would not normally play at one of my gigs.

    Good list.

The manager sounds like a bit of a knob though.
