    Default Which Laser

Some advice again, I am thinking of purchasing a KAM XY Laser. However at this time I can only afford one. So my question, Red Blue Purple or Red Green Yellow or Green Blue Cyan. Which one should I go for.

Assuming you mean the KAM laser retailing between £120- £140, then I'd throw another hat into the ring. Chauvet. There's a lot of their stuff on the market at silly prices at the moment. I believe it's because they're letting a licence lapse on something in this country, but I'm not sure.
    I have two of these

I recently acquired one of these, and have to say it's awesome. It's a three colour cluster laser, and with basic DMX control, you can make it do a lot of tricks. On full auto, it's a tad manic, works well on sound.

The same seller also has an offer on two lasers and a stand

I know one or two respected forum members who have had dealings with this seller, and would again. Also, the after sales service I got from Chauvet was very good. Speaking personally, I can't say the same for KAM.

Youtube time for you, methinks. Good luck.

I tried to order the one with two on a stand but they are out of stock. I will give them a ring in the morning to IF they have got some more coming in at that price. With regard to those you have Excalibur which colours have you got, the same as you inserted the link to.

What attracted me to the KAM lasers was the effect they achieve, and also they are not far from where I live, As a matter of interest I ordered something from their "Seconds" department a few months ago. It came with a small item missing.Phoned them, they sent me the part the same day and also 4 free bags,

I have two of these and so does my mate

I think they are great value for money at £125 for 760mW RGBY and look awesome with two DMXed together https://youtu.be/x-FyxbOFoAo

If only one of us is working on a night, we often share them and use all four DMXed together!!

I don't like cluster lasers, based on the ones I've seen in person (one colour, monosyballic programs etc) - but I liked what I saw in the videos of the Chauvet Scorpion you recommended Peter, then went ahead & ordered one. It came today & I'm very impressed with it. 70 squids well spent, I think, and my what a spread it has My kids (and the cat!) were blown away by it too.

Sound response is very good, but it won't ever be left on auto.. it's definitely on something in that mode. I've already planned to DMX it (along with my other lighting), which should be happening in the next couple of weeks.

Ain't that the truth!! Sound calms it down tremendously.

With a simple controller, you can tame the blighter. Pick single, or two colour patterns, the lot. Worth a go.
