    Default Denon mc6000 wanted

I've got a mk1 already, I unfortunately spilt a drink on it and now the play / cue buttons on occasion don't work the first press. Silly me! Anyway mk1 would be preferred because the mk2 would need effort to remap to traktor however either is quite acceptable!

Just to let you know I'm ordering a new MC6000 and they have no stock until next month by all accounts just in case that's your fall back...

How odd! No its not urgent, I just have to push play again if it doesn't trigger first time... So it's just irritating more than unusable

Strip it down, give the switches (not pots) a damn good rinse with Safewash2000, allow to dry, repeat, allow to dry. Reassemble. Done

For what it's worth it could also be the switch wearing out. The tactile switches used in gear these days aren't all that even from the big names like Denon, Pioneer etc.

I've already had to replace a rotary encoder in my mc2000.

Also note that taking these things to bits is an involved task. See YouTube for a video on dismantling the 6000 & see if you're put off

There’s a Traktor .tsi for the MK2 - only takes a second to download and install, mine works perfectly with it.
