been away from here for a bit.
if you want to upgrade the led module you will need to increase the power supply and the cooling of the actual led, bigger heatsink and probably add a fan for helping it dissipate the removed heat. you will find that its a voltage thing not just a current supply issue as the more power needed is usually used by increasing the voltage, without knowing the package of the led already you might be able to use something readily available, also the optics might need looking at, if its a bigger physical led then it might not all focus under the present package fitted, how much modification you might need to do to the case aswell to move air around and fit a power supply,
if you have time and don't mind playing then yeah I'm all for it but sometimes its better to get something already designed to do the job rather than try to make something else do it.
