    Default Compact Illuminated Keyboards

Hey guys - are any of you using illuminated (backlit) keyboards on your rigs?

I bought a compact 88 key EL keyboard from a computer fair at the weekend, but they only had one left

I have looked around one the net for another one, but have drawn a blank. It's easy enough to get Blue Tooth mini/compact keyboards that are illuminated, and USB compact keyboards that are non-illuminated - but a small USB one that lights up seems to be a rare beast

The one i have is an illuminant N1117

    What are you guys using?

Yes, I use one for the HD2500 but I can't remember the name of it off hand.
Not much help I know but when I look in my flightcase I'll let you know.

    EDIT : It's a Zippy EL-610

    Thanks guys

The one I got at the computer fair looks very much like the one Shakermaker posted but only cost me £13 and not like $65

Another member here PMed me who has one of hte same for sale at a similar price so I will probably go for that one

I bought one off ebay and turned out it was USA keyboard despite advertised as UK keyboard.
Some of the keys gave out wrong codes and dint display characters on the keys.
Tried changing languages between USA and UK but it still didn't work right so just sent it back.

about £20 on amazon, one of the best things i've bought, also has a USB port on the side that i plugged a USB goose neck lamp into to make it even better, Fab bit of kit.

I have an Ikea desk lamp so that I can see not only the keyboard, but my paperwork, requests, and anything else I need on the booth.

    Maybe I'm just old fashioned

    Dicky,

Can you check the model number you gave us please as the only Google link to that brings up this thread?!

I need to get one for a lighting desk, but again, I was struggling to find the right product.
