    Default Clay Paky Astrospider

    Hello members , I am a newbie and perhaps posting in the wrong place so please forgive me , I have aquirred a Clay Paky Astrospider 80's disco light , I know nothing about it other than it looks complete.I do have photos of course which I'll try and attach now ( if possible)

    Hello Andy. Sorry I know next to nothing about Clay Paky lights ( although try searching that name on here. They've been discussed before. )

    A ceiling mounted unit used as a club centrepiece. I think the whole thing rotates plus the individual satellites also rotate. I'm pretty sure each satellite has it's own centrally mounted halogen bulb producing narrow, sharp beams through the lenses around the venue. Very dramatic in the smoke filled venues of yesteryear! Clay Paky effects were the dogs danglies back then!

    Yep used to have a dozen of these when i used to own night clubs,these are so well made and Clay Paky have been the leader of lighting effects for the last 40 years.
