    Default Need some inspiration

I'm having some new flyers designed. I've hired a pro to design it.

My initial idea was going to be photos on the flyer with website/email/phone details on it, but he has suggested to add in a few words about the service I offer. Sadly, this has made me draw a blank. Would a paragraph be a good idea, or would bullet points work better? Does anybody have any leaflets they are willing to share to inspire me/that I can blatantly rip off?

Benny, if I had such an item, I'd gladly share it, but I'm afraid I haven't.
Logic says that bullet points should have more impact, folk are less likely to read a great wodge of text.

Pick out the most important bits of your services, and put them in. Best I can offer.

Bullet points are great. Maybe just using those bullet points throughout the leaflet rather than as actual bullet points in a block though I'm sure the designer will have that covered though.

If it's double sided maybe a short paragraph on the reverse. "Benny's super duper DJ service is the best DJ service you'll ever know voted #1 in an award he paid to get and better than all competitors, look no further!" That's what I'd do minus the wording itself

You need to work backwards to avoid the flyer being so generic it has no impact.

    Let's start with your objectives.

Here's a couple to start with, feel free to add a few more if necessary (though there shouldn't be more than five or so or it loses focus).

Who is the flyer aimed at?
What action do you want them to take?

And start looking at marketing material from all areas and noting anything that catches your eye (they've probably spent millions on their campaigns so it'd be foolish not to take notes).

Hire a pro copywriter too - the words are more important than the design.

What are the flyers for? Wedding shows?

The idea of these flyers is to market towards couples at a wedding venue where I am a recommended supplier.

I've got an idea for the wording though. Will see how it works out.

Well, here's the finished product and I have to say, I am very happy with it.

I've got to say, very impressed with the imagery used, this is a good leaflet design

I'm not quite sure whether it's a good route to market. I would target local FB/Twitter groups, get people talking about your works, talk with local candy / sweet / flower shops, no doubt there's reciprocal work there

Sublime sound, eh Benny? Does that mean the DJ's ridiculous?

    Nice job with the flyers.
