Default Uplighting-How does it affect your dmx show?

Just curious. if you turn up at a gig that uses uplighting does that change what lights you'll use?

Nope. I try to only light the dancefloor. That said, I generally start the evening with my own wash lights set to the same or similar colour if there's uplighting in place

I use a few of my own uplighters regardless. And I don't change anything except as Justin said matching the colours.

If it ever did happen i would match my lighting to the static colour of the supplied uplighting and probably program the show using that colour as I have a white only show that i can add certain colour too. I just hate not having changing uplighting. Amazing the effect lighting can have even on static so any uplighting is better than nothing IMO.
