The fan in my QPHP is noticable if you're near it but I find it pretty quiet. Certainly quieter than either my hazer or WashFX
Possibly, although i have heard other people mention it. You can hear the fans from the other side of any average sized function room, so they are loud? Perhaps a different fan I would guess, I can't imagine both units have a fault? I will have a look at it.
This other one apparently has a dimmer, something I can't seem to engage on my ones?

My mistake I thought the second price in the checkout was with VAT.

The bearing on the fan of one of my HP Quads has gone after 13 months, so it is definitely noisy!
Took it apart to find if I could replace the fan separately but not so. Just deciding whether to soldier on, buy a new one or two of something else, hence my interest in the thread.

Oh good you can tell me if they are any good then. If they are still working after a month then I will get 2.
I don't know if its because i use mine for all days a lot so notice the noise more, but a fan less version would be better.

I can dim my QPHP with the provided tiny remote just fine. And over DMX.

I got them and use them most gigs. Good output and coverage. They seem well made and durable too.
