Not too far removed from my situation, Daryll. On Boxing Day Jeanette, myself, our son and my Father went to Berlin to visit our daughter. Before we left, my state of health was in question, as I had a night of uncontrollable sweating and shivering after Christmas Day. We put it down to overwork and excessive indulgence, but over the course of the four days, I seem to have infected my fellow travellers to varying degrees with some sort of lurgy. Jeanette looks like death warmed up, and will miss her intended return to work. I've been coughing so badly at times, that my ribs ache as if I'd fallen off a scaffold. Happy New Year, eh?
