I was just about to suggest mounting some jelly domes on them as I do with my HK Nanos

Those v bar things look pretty nice, how are they live? I love my jelly domes to be honest but with one eye on down the line, I've been considering what I could replace them with.

I was trying to avoid Jelly Domes Jim, which is why I got these.

Live, they're brilliant. They're a lot brighter than I expected and just give that little bit of extra oomph on the dance floor. They'll only do one colour at a time through all four LEDS which is a bit of a disadvantage, but other than that, I'm impressed.

    Rhino clamps.

The bars come with the floor standing brackets that all these types of lights have so they're nice and easy to bolt to a clamp and put on the poles.

That would actually be ideal for me - I hate when you have a million and one colours all going at the one time.

I feel my first non fuel purchase of the tax year coming on

I use a Ultra hex bar 12 for my wash. No complaints from me.

OK so my plan is to retire the jelly domes

Have an ultra hex bar 12 under my lite console and either 2 hex bar 6s or 2 hex bar 12s mounted on my HK nano poles.

The 12s would pretty much take up the whole pole which I think would look really cool but it might be a bit much brightness wise? I know I can dim them with dmx but it seems like a bit of a waste, would the 2 6s do a job do you think?

My gigabar spends most of its life dimmed down. But .. I can punch full brightness in for spot effects. Aka the button marked 'gigablind' on my console
