    Default when it goes wrong.................

    VMS4.1 channel one , gone
W-audio horizon 1300 takes ages to clear power on fault
    AISO driver on laptop corrupted.

    Souloution.
A nice new pair of Mackie SRM450 V3 Speakers , that cures the amp problem.( first time I have used Active speakers , so any tips.............)
New download of AISO drivers , that cured the laptop ( yes I have back up)
VSM4.1 , well I still have three channels , funny thing is , it`s fine on phono input , just USB , this might be related to AISO driver problem.
We live and learn , and I have had years of fault free service from the items.

Time for a VMS5 maybe, it's suprising how much better it is, and easier to use.

I had a VMS4 in to look at a while back. The power supply had fried. Sadly with no circuit diagram available, identifying the burnt components on the board was impossible so it had to be scrapped. A poor design IMHO. The other ADJ kit I've had the pleasure of seeing inside have dissuaded me from ever buying anything of theirs again. Still, you can pick up TWO VMS5s for about the same price as one Denon MC6000mk2...
