Assuming one charges £199.99, that's just over £18.00 an hour for pushing a play button a few times. Perfectly reasonable fee for such an easy job that an iToaster can do.

    Exactly.

You'd never get that round here!

Has/does anyone else use these and are all the requests genuine/worth while?

    Thanks in advance.
Simple answer, don't bother unless you want to waste your money.

Sorry, when I said higher quality of lead, I meant that they seemed more genuine.

Typically, a lead generation website will often attract price shoppers, because the attraction is that they'll receive a large number of quotes, where they can simply 'pick' the most suitable one for them (often the cheapest).

But that's not always the case - I have had the odd lucrative gig from these websites. But they are very much the needle in the haystack.

    Default Bark

I've used bark add to event and have got two jobs off add to event and a few jobs off bark.
Need a disco hasn't produced many leads in the Nottingham area.
It is a bit of a rip off on bark but need a disco that seems a big waste of money at the moment.

Harsh. Quite possibly true, but as yet unproven.

NaD is still doing it for me, but they're low budget diary fillers at this time of year. Welcome nonetheless.

I have. I have just replied to an AmpDJ lead, and when I then read my latest Bark lead, it was exactly the same one.

Been sent a 50% off credits offer and a 'No gig money back guarantee'. Potential of up to 7 gigs from the credits.

    Now we wait...

That would be nice here. Ever the optimist, having used up my first credits, one came up which was very quirky, so I rashly " invested " another sum of money. Unless something comes of these, I can see Bark getting blocked for emails here. So many requests don't have a date, so are obviously just getting prices.

Re price, in two months, I've spent the same on Bark as a year on NaD, and I get jobs from NaD.

I had one booking from bark back in september for April this year which cancelled on new years day but nothing since not even a reply or a tick to say they were read from those I quoted for.
Being of a Slightly Cynical I do wonder how genuine they are. On the other hand I have had 5 from NAD in the same period of time.
