    Good morning,
I bought some gear to "do the music" for my father in law's 65th Birthday - Had an old AV amp, bought a pair of Skytec 10"speakers from ElectroMarket (which sound really crisp) and some lights and a rig from Maplins. Venue was quite small and I created a playlist which I saved to a laptop. Got complimented on my playlist and the lights went down well. Have been asked a few times whether I would do a gig for a few parties, but never really had the bottle to do my first real gig, as I don't really know whether what I have got as a starting setup would cut the mustard. Have since added a moonflower and quad light and have even bought a booth. It currently sits in the garage doing nothing. How did any of you feel on your first one? Nervous in case something went wrong? or did you all have back ups? Thanks. Stephen.

    Hello Stephen. Nice intro.
Fuller reply later, but I'm sure others will be along soon.
