    Default VDj PC

Just interested in finding out if anyone is using VDJ for showing music videos and if so, what pc you are using.

Looking into buying a new pc but don't want to buy anything that too over spec!

General advice is to either buy something with discrete graphics (these are often advertised as a machines built for gaming), or accept that you might need to spend some time resizing videos if your collection is in HD (otherwise you'll suffer from horrific frame dropping/lagging). An i5 processor is generally good enough as long as you have discrete graphics. 8Gb or more of RAM is also handy.

Having said all of this, I've happily run video's off an old Dual core machine with an inbuilt Intel graphics chipset and 2Gb of RAM - but not at HD resolutions.
