    Default Equinox star cloth fault

    Hello,

I have an equinox star cloth of which the plug came off, I repaired this following the wiring diagram on this forum

Since the repair the cloth lights up very faintly momentarily and that is it, the controller seems to be ok

    Any advice on this?

So many witty ripostes spring to mind, but I'll settle for:
    1) Welcome.
    2) Please pop across to Newbies and introduce yourself, we're a friendly, but nosey lot, and like to know who we're typing to.
    3) Not my sphere of expertise, we need the technocrats to arrive. Let's hope the cavalry hoves into view over the hill shortly.

Mod note: Ah. The white haired old duffer strikes again. I see you did indeed post in Newbies as well, but I deleted that one as a duplicate. I still reckon this one stands as a lighting query, and a fuller intro in Newbies would be nice. Thank you.

My gut feel is that either you have a short in the cloth wiring somewhere, or the controller power supply has failed.

I also have a feeling that the wiring diagram on this forum is for the standard (non DMX) Equinox/Ledj starcloth and controller and the starcloth linked to the reference you've given comes with the 'advanced' controller - which could have different wiring.

Could you add photos of the connectors and controller?
