    They could easily do this...but they’d be killing off their own business, no one would buy other lighting and controllers if there was a really good gigbar solution.

    Yeah we've all seen potential in every 'toy' lighting fixture for something good to come & wow everybody. Meh. Most manufacturers' fixtures are rebadged OEM products full of Chinesium anyway. A lot of it is quite good mind, but specifying their own kind of product is much more expensive than a simple rebadging operation. For an example of this, see the ADJ Warlock.
