    Default Equinox Booth Starcloth

So I'm now on my second starcloth - and the same problem as the first has appeared. So time to fix one (if not both of the cloths).

Essentially one channel of lights has stopped working.

Has anyone had any experience of these? Could it be 1 led out (that has taken out the whole channel (Christmas tree style), or is it more likely to be a broken cable? Don't want to go chasing the LEDs if it's not that. But I guess it could be as there doesn't appear to be a 'bypass' on each LED. Surprised they've made it that way, considering the cost! On that basis, is it a case of 1 LED at a time, or is there an easy way to find out which one it is?

Thanks! If all goes well, I'll have a booth LED cloth for sale soon, as I don't really need both!!

I have repaired many Equinox starcloths both the Tri colour and single colour.
The Led's are all modules that plug in to the wiring loom, so it could be just a loose connection, just a matter of unzipping the cloth and check that all the led modules are all plugged in ok, doubt if the led module itself is faulty.

Another problem with the Equinox starcloth is the plug that plugs in to the controller it is not that good and I would check that none of the wires have come undone on the plug.
I have altered mine by fitting a Bulgin 8 pin socket on the controller with a plug for the cloth.

Hmmmmm. My decision to eschew the purchase of a Starcloth is looking like a wise move. Seems to me that it's vital to treat them very carefully, especially with packing and unpacking.

To avoid handling mine too much when attaching to the booth
I leave my starcloth always attached to the booth.

It also saves time putting it on and taking it off at the end of the night, I just fold the booth with the cloth attached and put in the carry bag.

Now I find that surprising. Always thought that was regarded as the fastest way to break one?
