Default Controlling Equinox Hypnos with Acme CA-8

Does anybody have experience of using the CA-8?

I wanted a simple way to scroll through the different Hypnos shows but I'm darned if I can get the CA-8 to play nicely with the light.

I have set the Hypnos to master (the sole recommendation from the company's service line).

I then set the Hypnos to SHND (show) and the C8 can scroll throught the shows and can also control the speed.
After a few seconds the Hypnos LED screen drops out of SHND and I then lose control of the light (except for blackout).

    Am I missing something?

I'm not familiar with the fixtures, but on many of these type of lights, you can navigate to a setting, but if you don't hit the " enter" button, they will do what you describe. I know there's something on the market where you have to hit it twice.

Yep my young apprentice is correct, ensure you hit enter to save your choice!
