There are plenty of workable programmes for my Surface, granted they could perhaps be better, but I'm managing just fine.
So far.
I love Microsoft for my laptop, and Virtual DJ is great.
But for tablets, it's Android for me. But I have no desire to touch Apple - and it seems a lot of money to need to buy an iPad just for one piece of software!!

Outdoor performances with social distancing returns Saturday.
Gyms open 25th July.
MUA return next Monday.
Further details still forthcoming to clarify/muddy the waters [delete as appropriate] but it's not all looking doom and gloom.

My Facebook feed literally exploded....but don't get too exited.
From what I'm gathering, it's all socially distanced outdoor stuff and nothing's been said about the sort of gatherings we generally tend to do...they're going to be doing tests on those over the coming weeks.
Nightclubs (more akin to how we'll be seen by UKGov) are still out of the question at the moment

I'm not excited yet as there is still a way to go for us.
But the trajectory seems like that my prediction of being back on the road in October is still looking good, which is incredibly important as I have a bet on it.

Hmm....this has just been published https://www.gov.uk/government/news/p...R90-Ibt_MegZtQ
Seems that with the correct precautions in place and of course outside, we can go back to work
Whether I'd feel comfortable working like that is another matter. Think I'm going to wait a little bit longer - there's no way in the world you're going to control any sort of party where alcohol and dancing's concerned.

Lots and lots of grey areas in this. But it appears to be specifically aimed at allowing theatres to get some income. Parties are still not allowed, that hasn't changed in the guidance. Tests are being performed to restart indoor performances, the press briefing is all specifically focused on performing arts, not DJ's or private events.

They're restarting gatherings in places that they can control and shut down easily if there are issues, pubs can be controlled through licensing, theatres/gyms through H&S, etc. It's going to be a while yet before they give the go ahead for private events because that's going to be the point where the flood gates are opened and won't be easy to shut again. Some of this relaxation of rules is going to be trickle down (I can already see from my Facebook feed that a lot of people have interpreted "theatre" and "performances" to mean "all night street party" and "Professional dancers" to mean "Dad dancing").

Oh, did I forget to mention the guy who is planning an open air Boxing match with tickets on sale (all in the name of charity) on the 18th of July??? That doesn't exactly feel like it's in the spirit of the guidelines??
I'd love to see the risk assessment for that one to make sure that it's "Covid secure?"

Edit: Facepainters are allowed to paint and apply tattoos to arms, but not faces. That is if they disinfect the arm first, wear a face shield/mask, use gloves that are changed between children, etc... Welcome to the new normal.

Calm down dear. Here, have some of my pills. Over here in the real world ( as opposed to Planet Benny ), some of us will be happy if we are let out for NYE.

Yeah, NYE isn't looking good. And possibly not Jan or Feb either...
