    In my mind, The Wedding Industry Awards (TWIA) are pretty good.

    But ultimately, they all provide a nice shiny badge. I can't imagine any clients actually looking into it too much.

    It's one method of marketing that some people use, and seem to get good results from it.

    I certainly benefited from it when I used it in my marketing.

    Apparently, I need to provide evidence of some sort to win the award this year.

    That means that the guy (i.e. ME!) who was nominated for, finalised in and won the award last year without knowing about it until about six months after the ceremony, needs to provide evidence this year to stand a chance of winning.

    Let that sink in.

    I used to think so, and regional it seems to be, but nationally it is as if they have a waiting list and you can predict who is next lol. Not just DJs (to be honest I now follow little DJ activity) but throughout.
