    hi all thanks for letting me join the forum im not a professional dj just do it as hobby in my local pub to help out with partys and karaoke

    Welcome! I'm sure there's a huge debate over what constitutes a professional! Anyone who takes care of what they do and gets people dancing makes it as a professional in my eyes!

    I've seen many "professionals" not act very professionally lol

    For new members, and those with poor memories, Gavin is absolutely correct that there is a huge debate, and it's one we've had here before. I will say no more. ( But I don't disagree with Gavin at all. )
