I have a very large light show and used it less than five times in 2006 for weddings.
Corporate and school events used the majority of the time and when they request lighting it's an add-on - not standard. However, it's not that way everywhere in the states - In the northern states in many ares it's standard and very expected. I used to live up north and dragged lighting to every event I love it here.
In the Disco's they have lighting, PA and a booth I bring my mixing tools and music.
