Default Stairville MV250 / iMove brackets

For everyones reference I took some pics of how the brackets work to hang the above mentioned moving heads.

First is the underside of the unit:

    Here is the hardware supplied:

And attached with the loop replacing one of the bolts:

Obviously you bolt your hook clamp to the centre hole on the bracket.
I guess you could directly attach two clamps to the holes in the base using the supplied bolts. The centre threaded hole in the base doesn't seem to do anything

Hope this helps clear up any mystery of the Stairville/iMove brackets

    Nice one Simon!

I also couldn't work out what the hole in the middle was for.

Do you hang yours with one clamp or two? I hang mine with one and still seem to have the problem of slight lop-sidedness (if that's a word!)

I might try your suggestion of using 2 clamps and the mounting plate bolts too.

Actually I don't hang them! Well, not yet. As I don't take the mobile out regularly, they get used at other events where I'm just providing a few lights for someone. Nice to know it's easily done though, I've got clamps, safety bonds and trussing etc.

Just thought it would be useful to post some pics

The middle hole is for single bolt mounting on a truss. Wouldnt trust the weight on a single bolt mounting myself but they obviously thought it was safe.
When the world ends , ill probably have to clean up the mess.

    How do you mean?

Not using a clamp at all and bolting directly to the truss?
