    Default What's your poison.

    Following on from another thread….

We all seem to know quite a bit about this subject….so what’s you tipple?

Me lager….Stella - Continental, made in Leuven or Louvain. University city..plenty of eye candy there.
Most popular and well branded larger….but not one of the best. IMO.

Did you know that in the Belguim they have lot’s of different beers some of the best made are by Trappist monks coming in at 9% and above. This stemmed from ‘Bad water’ surround the cities during the 16th century…I think. The monk's decided to brew beer....good lads!!

I occasionally visit Leuven for work and stop in a nice little hotel that has 250 beers… ..not quite worked my way through all of them yet!!!

    What’s your poison then?
Uh..."You have been fined 99 bicycle clips, go directly to jail, do not collect 200 pounds... who's that naughty boy there?"

I guess I'm a bit unusual here...as I'm not keen on beer or lager, and I can't stand whisky or gin.

My fave tipples are vodka (not neat!), cider and wine.

I don't drink much though, as I'm out working most nights, and never even have one when I'm driving.

    I probably only have a drink 2 or 3 times a month...and that's usually at home when I have a night off...as going to a pub would be a bit of a busman's holiday!

I enjoy a Single Malt. Cardhu is my favourite. I'm not much of a beer drinker.
