Hello to those who don't know me.
Having joined many moons ago I thought I would rear my head and say hello and tell you a little about me to those of you that don't know me, and those of you that do too.
My name is Andy, most people will know me from another blue DJ forum where I was a moderator for many years.
I own, and run Your Big Event, a small company providing discos/DJ/Entertainment across the country, primarilary in the South West though, we can cover a few gigs per week, and a few forum member here have helped out too, thanks Eddie, Pete etc.
We also provide wedding cakes, chocolate fountains, caterers, wedding cars, bands, duos, quizzes, race nights, marquees, chair covers, sports cars and many other things, although prefer to stick to the disco/entertainment side of things.
I also own a few other companies, including one called South West PAT Testing, you can guess what that does. (competitive quotes available)
I also work freelance as a sound engineer, plus a few other 'things', making me self employed all the time.
That is my business life, my private life is just that too....private, I am married to Annelise, who does the cakes side of one of the busineeses and that is all you need to know.
Started DJing a few months ago, about 300 to be nearer the mark
I use a Bose sound sytem, the L1, with 2 B1's, Behringer mixers, and AKG microphones mainly.
Specialising in the wedding sector, I do little else !
Hope to contribute here, when time allows, which is minimal at the moment, but enjoyed reading posts already
