What make and model boiler do you have?
    How old is it?
How long does the 'popping' go on for?
Does the noise gradually calm down when it's been on for a while?
Is it more of a 'knocking' than a 'popping' noise?

Potterton Prima- I know about the PCB issue which causes it to reset but I dont think its that.

It pops for about 30 seconds occasionally when it first comes on (timer kicks in) and then stops just as quickly.

    Thanks
