Default Merry Christmas you filthy animals!

Well I'll say it since nobody else has and I'm sitting here finishing a rather large single malt after completing Santa duties...Merry Xmas one and all

May 2023 be as good as 2022 was (I've already got ink drying on an Xmas party for next year!). There's a LOT of challenges coming for the next year, not least of all folks being brassic and not being able to afford a party. It's going to take a LOT of work to get those gigs...but we'll get there - we always do!

Take it easy for the next couple of days and enjoy a well earned break, some dry oversized chicken, a LOT of booze (that's my plan!), Call The Midwife, Dr Who, Matchmakers, Twiglets and Cheese Balls.

See you all on the other side!

Sincere apologies for the late reply, but our day yesterday featured being taken out for Christmas Dinner by the kiddiwinkies, to a very swish eaterie. For some of us, the meal was enhanced by my finding out that they had a very smooth Plum Porter on draught.

Today may feature a tasting session of the various drinks bought for us all, including one which it may be wise to share, a 16% Stout!

Cheers everyone, Merry Christmas, and a Happy New Year.

Merry Xmas all. Being taken out for Xmas dinner is now on my list for next year

Partly because I turned on the hob to start cooking yesterday and it literally went bang... Turns out lots of things are microwaveable

Hope everyone had a lovely Christmas.

It's the one time of year (apart from when flying!) that I try and keep the laptop firmly off - was lovely to spend some time with family and turn the emails off for a few days!

Hope everyone had a great Xmas.

That is my (only) New Year resolution - to keep the laptop closed more. Social Media is my downfall, wasting hours and hours on pointless reading lol. I am sticking to stricter working hours and deleting a lot off my phone. Much preferred the days when forums like this were the only social media places lol
