    I use a 700watt per channel austin armstrong amp on my mid/hi's and a 1000watt per channel BSS amp on bass,
    but both are run into 8ohms so about 2500watts in total & it's used for P.A & disco not that loud by todays standards but sounds really good!

    Willy waved now back to the Jamesons!

    My system is 300 watts RMS each side at 8 ohms.

    However, I don't think the power is important...

    ...it's how you use it that counts
