Default Soundcloud mixes via MDD on facebook.

There would be nothing to stop people posting their mixes this way would there? Be great to hear some of the stuff the DJ's on here have put together.

No soundcloud (or similar) links either directly or via facebook etc are to be posted on the forum. Sorry.

Posting mixes without the permission of the copyright holder is still illegal here in the UK. Maybe someday the UK will adopt a fair usage policy similar to the one in the US, but as it currently stands posting mixes of your sets (whether streamed or downloadble) isn't entirely legal unless you have permission from the copyright holder.

I know what you mean. Whilst I'd also enjoy hearing mixes of our members, the MDD has always strived to promote best practice, especially when it comes to legality within our industry. So untill the law changes we just can't allow it.

I know it's not the answer people want to hear but it is what it is. Sorry.

I've also re-opened the original discussion that was temporarily closed to allow us time to discuss the matter...

I get what your saying - So I'll throw this one in as a possible work around - can we put our mixes onto YouTube (Ok the mixes are going to be a lot shorter) and then post the YouTube clip/link here?
