How many of you have a listing with uk disco?

I am currently a silver member

Is it just me or are the enquiries that we get seem to be looking to get the cheapest dj that they can.I seem to be losing out to djs who are charging £100- £120 per gig.

I am with them, and also on silver.

I have had one enquiry (that was when I was on free) and it booked, but that was it.

I used them...payed for a subscription...didn't receive one enquiry!

I also have a Silver listing on that site.

Last November I upgraded my free listing on the strength of positive comments about paid listings from a number of people on this forum.

Since then, my listing has produced 20 hits to my website, one enquiry and no bookings. The upgrade cost £34.50 and I see that's increased to £37.50 this year, so they are extremely unlikely to get any money out of me when the renewal is due in a couple of months. I'll just go back to my free listing.

Maybe you're right to suggest that the site is more successful for discos charging around £100.

I am referring to the red lettering enquiries that appear on your administration menu page.you have to click it to get full details of the enquiry.

As for the direct email from a customer i seem to have more luck in sometimes securing the booking.

Very strange and spooky....
I had a free listing with them for a while and then decided to upgrade. When I upgraded I received a lots of enquiries but as said already, they were from people looking for cheap Discos.
I have had 4 bookings that have been decent paid gigs from them in 4 years. They are in my bookmarks and I always look to see if something has come my way. I went back to a free listing and saw lots of names appearing (a bit fishy I thought).

I've just this second looked and sitting there is an enquiry directly for me so I have texted for the details.

I joined them around the same time I joined here. So far I've had 5 enquiries from them and 3 bookings.

Not a bad ratio when it's cost me nixie to join IMO

I've just had the details back, called the number and the people on the other end of the line said that they have had about 10 calls from people asking for the name on the enquiry form.

There was an email address aswell so I have emailed them.

This isn't the first time this has happened either!

I've had a free listing for a long time - from memory 1 enquiry and I can't remember if it was turned into a booking.
