So what are you talking about in terms of 'System'?

If you already have 4 Peavey speakers (which I would imagine are RMS ratings, giving total power rating of 1.6kW? 4 Ohm or 8 Ohm speakers?) then are you after just a power amp? Or mixer and EQ to go with that?

Anyhow... depends also on how many people you are DJing to - general rule of thumb of 10 watts per person, i.e. 100 people need 1000 watts.

...and I'll get in with the Class D card before Corabar Steve does --- Complete 1.5 kW system, desk, EQ, amp, speakers --> HERE (http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Class-D-1515SP-1-5Kw-PA-system-DJ-Bands-Groups-Install_W0QQitemZ180169512061QQihZ008QQcategoryZ47 094QQtcZphotoQQcmdZViewItem) <---

...or go hunting on Ebay, start at 'DJ Equipment' (http://electronics.listings.ebay.co.uk/DJ-Equipment_W0QQfclZ3QQfromZR11QQsacatZ48458QQsocmdZ ListingItemList) and hunt through the categories.

Has to be said that the real bargains will be in January, when everyone has got their Xmas £££'s and is upgrading... ;)

Mixer

Just over £250 the pair. Many others fit the bill, these were just the first suitable two I found.

Simply the first site I picked! If you fancy any of them, then start comparing prices elsewhere. There can be huge differences.
