i have currently designed a bass bin loaded with two 12in eminence delta lf drivers the cab is 150l in volume and 800mm high 400mm wide and approx 490mm deep and is tuned to 40hz response shows in wid isd software that with 1.2kw at 40hz 130DB and 133DB at 63hz! so with two a side you would be able to get 136 db max spl from two cabs smaller then a folded horn! the drivers are cheap ccan get them for £40 a pop! im going to be making a prototype in a couple of weeks would anybody like a copy of my plans and cut list when i have finished drawing it up. also i will give some feedback on how this cab sounds once its constructed . ordered drivers today.
the reason for this cab is even though im young i'm sick of carrying around massive cabs that tire me out before the gig starts!:D also designed a mid top to match as well! all will be revealed;)
