does anyone think this would work something like in the pic but change the pars for led pars and insted of the effect light put my 100mw green laser above the strobe it wouldnt be that heavy thus able to stand mount.

Where would you put it though? If you were to place it on the floor, you can't have a laser at knee height!

I can't see the point of the case?

its a flight case as well how long would it take you to set up a t bar with 4 led pars 1 laser and a strobe then dmx them up also hiding cables with this box it would already be wired up so you just put some power to it and a dmx lead and away you go

It wouldn't take that long and would look far better than having a great big box with lighting that you couldn't spread out.
And it looks horrible!

:agree: it looks horrible!
I think it looks cheap and cheerful in all respects - in all fairness, fair play for having a go but I'd say that if I designed such a cabinet like the 1 pictured, it'd be back to the drawing board :bang:
Are you trying to save space or something pal?

i was just thinking that if you had 4 led pars 1 strobe at bottom laser at the top and something like the dino twin effect then if you had 2 boxes 1 on each stand you would have 16 lighting effects. the lights would be pre wired inside and with them being in the boxes they would be flightcased so put box on stand take off front put power cable in back and a dmx lead from controller and there is your light show. i was thinking if you need a quick set up of a show they would be spot on

I think pre-wired T-bars are a better idea

Actually at first when I saw the pic I hated the very thought of this. But now you've got me thinking about an 'all-in-one' solution for very small gigs (houses, pubs, kids) ... hmmmm! Thinks I'd probably want it to be more dynamic though - maybe a couple of rollers, couple of lasers or a twin-head, couple of scanners. In which case ventilation might become a slight issue, but then I guess you could have grilled cutouts on the rear. Add a laptop, mic, mini mixer, folding table & a pair of small active speakers, job done :) All on one 13A power lead setup in less than 5. Nice...
Laptop, mic, mini mixer could be built into a suitcase-sized unit too... even more chin-scratching...

If you built it like those camping trailers, you'd just wheel it in, unlatch, and unfold! Hey presto, instant disco!!;) :D
