Light screens

Hi,

i want about two light screens for the front of my disco for kids partys but they cost quite a bit and not really worth it so do any of you know where i can get some cheap ones from or make them myself.

Well you can try searching though the various second hand sites like Ebay.
If you are good at wood work its pretty easy to make one,
Build a box
Put it partitions to make some basic shapes like four squares
Fit four lamp holder and lamps
Wire to a controller
It shouldn’t cost a lot to build one; you can buy a four-way controller for about £20 and the lamp holder and lamps shouldn’t be much.
Also you could use loudspeaker cloth to cover it, see Maplin KS49D

I've found on EBay plans for a different type of light screen see item number 220184370281.

Thanks for your help. i looked at both, very intrested in the allready built pair of screens. but i live no where near for locla pick up and the cutrom built one isnt the type im after but thanks anyway.
