I have had this mixer for 5 years now, I am using it with my Mackie 450's and I seem to be pushing the master sliders to maximum lately, Do they need servicing ?
Or do i get another ? I need fx for Karaoke & Disco

Are you sure you haven't changed any gain settings in the software? The reason I ask is because I did last week in Virtual DJ and spent a week wondering why everything appeared to be quieter!

I would give the faders and pots a good clean too.

I have touched the settings in the software, so cant see it been that, how do you clean the faders and pots ?

I would take your mixer to be serviced. You get a build up of things like dust, smoke residue and general crap in the faders, so a good clean is in order.

I have used WD40 as a quick fix before, but a good swich cleaner will probably do. If you haven't had the mixer serviced in 5 years, then that's what I'd recommend.

This sounds more like a pc problem to me, check your soundcard settings.
