hi everyone

i need a bit (well a lot:) ) of help with how to upload images and creating a photo album & thumbnails to my website

can anyone point me in the direction of where i'd be able to get a tutorial or if they're feeling generous could anyone tell me how to do it in this thread?

all i want to do is upload a few photos of the gigs i've been doing and put them in seperate albums...for example:

album 1 would be: robert & claire's wedding: 21/10/07
album 2 would be: john's's 21st party: 29/11/07
album 3 would be: asda xmas party: 21/12/07

thanks in advance for any help offered:beer1:

See http://www.mobilediscodirectory.co.uk/forums/showpost.php?p=95589&postcount=11

Although for that, you will need a little HTML and PHP knowledge, and your host must support PHP with GD and EXIF support.

Cara, that page is a little limited width-wise, once you take into account your navigation on the left there isn't much room left.

Your "sub navigation" for switching galleries would have to go somewhere, which would leave you even less room. Pagination would be automatic at the top or bottom, but you'd still be lucky to get one or two thumbnails wide because of your page design.

You could break out of your design a little and open your gallery in a new window...this would also be much easier for you to integrate as you could basically use my gallery script without much editing at all.
