hi guys,
been offered Gemini GSM-1500 speakers X2 and a Gemini X-2 Amp for £150
would you recommend these or not?
jack
The speakers are only 150 watts rms in 8 ohm each. Not that much power but if you are starting up then go for it.
What is this person offering for this???

always ask the question, "why is he/she selling them"?
Could be that this system, from what info you have given - may not have enough welly for gigs..

I used this amp for many years as full range into Peavey Eurosys3's, and still use it on the tops on the small rig. Excellent amp, though for preference the X-3 is better, another 50w at 8ohms, bit more headroom. It is not going to fill a concert hall with sound, but if you never go above small pubs/youth clubs/small village halls, it will be fine, as long as you accept it's limitations.

ask the seller (if you are collecting) to show you them working and ask a lot of questions.
the price required dont seem like a second hand price for these. (im certain about the speakers but not 100% sure about the amp)
