I suppose it depends on what effect your after, if you just want loads of randon colours to fill a room then fantastic.
I have similar effects to these and although very good am now looking to go DMX mainly for a more professional look, i.e. specific colour scenes and a symmetrical feel.

I think it's a bit wierd that your asking about them AFTER buying the lights... What if everyone said they were awful and a waste of money? That's why I always ask on here before buying and I think it has saved me a lot of money in the long run - there's a lot of experience and knowledge in this 'ere forum...

I know, i am quite confident that they are good, just wondering wether any else had used them before ? I have scanners as well to fill to rigging, just wanted to fill some gaps on it ?

They should do the trick then if that's what you want, and they're very bright too at 300W each. I'm not sure if you have a controller but I think it would be best (IMO) if you could switch between lights so as not to have them all your lights on at one time, i.e. switch between scanners and these etc... You could put them all on towards the end of the night though for maximum effect.

Wouldn't it have been better to ask about them BEFORE you bought them?

Soundlab is not synonymous with quality to be honest and what you have bought will be 4 lighting effects that will probably do the job, but won't be fantastic.

I had 4 of these some years back. They were identical, but badged up as "acme".

They lasted all of 4 months before the boards and insides burnt out..

Must have been the 300w lamp I guess...

 I've got the same set of lights... bought before I knew better

At least they're bright... they're 250w each... and nice and light to set up.

I add them (all 4 on 1 T bar, set in a corner of the dance floor) to the main rig if time and space allows... and if my datamoons quit at least I have some lights.

All 4 lights and the cables fit into 2 small stainless steel tool-boxes.

:bang: :bang: mine were only £80 on ebay :bang: :bang:
