Last one... phew! What a month!

Last pre-Xmas gig tonight - I deliberately kept the last couple of lead-up days free because I knew what a hectic month I'd be having... not just with the disco but in my other lives too.

Luckily it's a kids birthday gig - about 50 all around 8/9 years old, mainly girls, so I feel a few hours of HSM / Hannah Montana / Barbie Girl coming on ... still, makes a nice change from Mariah Carey and The Pogues.

So the fridge is all stocked up with Xmas Stella ready for me to trash when I roll in around 10pm tonight :D

My fridge was stocked at the beginning of the week, but needs to be stocked again now!

We're through as well - under instructions to keep this weekend totally free so we can go to drinks parties etc but tomorrow is feet up in front of the fire. It'll be nice to have a drink or two during the evening. Not out again until the 29th when the NY parties start.

I have a residency to do tonight, a 50th birthday tomorrow and Xmas eve at my local before I can have a beer or 3 on christmas day and then it's boxing day and so on...

I'm looking forward to January when it's a bit quieter.

Due to a band pricing themselves out of a local one, I now have tonight Xmas party, Xmas Eve and Boxing Day local club, then gigs every night, bar Sunday till NYE. And as it happens, all my NYE gigs cancelled/aren't happening! :( Let's hope for a last minute eh, will travel, the van's loaded.;)

Well last one last night it was a blinder .... Started with james brown rammed floor all night santa hats , glowsticks waving mainly an 80s crowd which was brilliant will upload some pictures when i can connect the camera , about 250 people and some as the dj for the other room didnt show till late.

saw him after and he'd had a suprisingly quiet night :D :D :D :D everyone was lovely and got to play some great tracks .... thats what this job is all about the crowd was 20-80 years old all stayed till the end and danced their legs off for me.
