Has anyone had trouble with bulb life on the 5s moving heads?
Bulb life seems very short for these fixtures as I now run four of these and the high price of the bulbs I sometimes wish I had stuck with the MX1s and acrobats (only replaced one bulb in three years :quiet: )
not only is It a pain removing the glass (anyone who has discharge lamps blow will Know they go off like a small bomb) It really mucks the show up, so when the guests are tucking in to the buffet (as long as the bulb goes early on) I am runing around trying to square the show up as to change the bulb there and then and remove all the glass is near on impossible :bang:
It would be great to hear if anyone is having the same problem :(

I use four of the halogen versions, and I've never had an issue with short lamp life. The lamps for the halogen version are cheap as chips too. Sorry to hear you're having problems with yours.

I am begining to wish I had got the halaogen version the difference in bulb brightness is very little and for small venues slightly over powering, but there is one plus point you dont need a heater this tme of the year as the heat generated is better than any venue heating http://www.mysmiley.net/imgs/smile/sign/sign0020.gif (http://www.videowhip.co.uk)
